Our Tradition

Our office was built in 1958 by Dr. H.P. Lundblade, one of the first Endodontists (root canal specialist) to graduate from an accredited endodontic specialty program in the US. At the time, the next closest endodontists were in New Orleans or Los Angeles.

Dr. Lundblade also served as Mayor of Castle Hills for over 23 years, and is a former Director of Castle Hills National Bank. In 2003 the office underwent a major renovation to keep up with all of the advances in technology we have seen in recent years. The office was closed for two months to make all of the changes. Except for the time needed for remodeling, this is the longest continually operating endodontic specialty office in the state of Texas.

Endodontic  Treatment

Commonly known as a “root canal”

A root canal is one of the most common dental procedures with well over 14 million performed every year. This simple treatment can save your natural teeth and prevent the need for dental implants or bridges. For more information on root canal treatment at our San Antonio endodontic offices, please visit our root canal page.
