B. Aaron Vaughn, DDS, MS
Dr. Vaughn is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Association of Endodontists (AAE). He is also an active member of the San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS) and is on the advisory board of the dental assisting program at San Antonio College (SAC).
He grew up in a military family, and spent the majority if his teenage years right here in San Antonio, attending Cole Jr./Sr. High School on Fort Sam Houston and then San Antonio College.
After attending San Antonio College he spent a year at Ricks College in the shadow of the Teton mountains before finishing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. Dr. Vaughn came home to San Antonio in 1997 to attend Dental School at the UT Health Science Center. After graduation, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Audie L. Murphy hospital in San Antonio. His next major venture was to do an Endodontic specialty residency at Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned a Masters degree in June, 2005.
Sharing his knowledge and teaching is one of his passions. He holds part-time positions as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics, and in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Vaughn has a passion for taking care of people and finds great satisfaction in managing endodontic dental emergencies.
When he is not taking care of his patients, he enjoys spending time and having adventures with his wife and two sons. He also loves the Spurs and he and his family get to a game whenever they can!
